Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd began her journey to combat sports at young age of fourteen. As well as BJJ classes as well, she was also trained in boxing, wrestling and kickboxing. When she was 18 years old, Ladd had her first appearance as an amateur in WCFC. Ladd gained momentum from this victory and began a 3 fight win streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents within the first round in all the fights. She then went back to WCFC where she defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen had already defeated Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking the fight to Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia gave Aspen an unanimity loss and outclassed her to tarnish Ladd's career as an amateur. Ladd was victorious in her subsequent fight with Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 mark. Aspen began her professional career in 2015 after signing to Invicta FC. At InvictaFC 11, she had her very first professional bout. She was a rout of Ana Carolina Vidal, securing the 1st-round TKO. Invicta Fighting Championships 16: She won the following match in the fight against Amanda Cooper through a second-round Armbar submission. Aspen utilized the techniques she learned from wrestling to beat McGill. Aspen ended her bout via TKO (3rd round) (elbows as well as punches). Aspen was then matched against Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. Aspen fought Hoy in an opponent with a catchweight (138.1lb) since Ladd didn't weigh in. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC at UFC Fight Night 118, against Lina Langsberg. She dominated Lina by pound-for-pound, and took the TKO round at the end of the second. Then, in her third fight she overcame Tonya Evinger even more impressively. Ladd was victorious at the start of round one, and received the Performance of the Night Bonus. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes was in the UFC's Fight Night dos anjos-lee fight with Eubanks of Sijara, was the first match she's had in a major role. Ladd was the winner of the night's fight bonus fight after the two fighters engaged in an intense back and forth battle. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie took 16 seconds to stop Ladd and her winning streak. Then she bounced back and defeated Yana Kunitskaya in the third round of UFC on ESPN 7. In a recent replacement match in the UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. She was beaten by a majority verdict.
