She was born in Roswell on the 29th of March 1985. Gerina Michelle Mendoza was her given name. Gerina Stevenson is a native of Mexico in the family of Mexican parents Alan Stevenson and Rita Stevenson. She is Mexican-American by heritage but has American citizenship. Gerina has always been a sports enthusiast. Gerina began playing golf after she was 15 years old. Gerina graduated from high school studies at Goddard High School. While in highschool, Gerina won in the New Mexico golf state tournament. As well as volleyball, she competed on the state level. She began attending in the University of Texas. In her senior year, she won every tournament she participated. Through her college professional career, she took home an award for Conference USA Individual Champion Player of the Year and UTEP Female Athlete of the Year.

Alyssa Norman

Two-sport Brockport's athlete played of both the lacrosse as well as female soccer squads. Norman was recognized as an outstanding football player in Brockport which was where she primarily played in the defensive part of the ball. In her role as a defensive player, she was an exceptional player who could block the ball, and was also an intelligent decision-maker with regards to interpreting the offensive strategies of teams that were not hers. This freshman will bring a number of great attributes for Lady Lakers in 2012. Her superior ball-control and good mental approach can give her a competitive edge going into her first season she will play for Finger Lakes. Her potential is likely to show this season as she is believed to have the necessary tools to become a top player in the future. Norman's present major is in liberal arts and sciences.
